Three Distinct Areas of your Home Theater
It is easier and less expensive than ever to transform any room of your household into a home theater. This guide is intended to help answer your questions and provide a foundation for mixing and matching components that will give optimal performance in your space.
1. The Picture
When we talk about "the picture", we can see a wide selection that varies from prices to sizes.
Let's start with TVs. You can get a LCD or PLasma. The difference? Real quality is still under discussion; both have very good definition. Just one tip: when you get a HDTV, contact your cable or satellite provider to make sure that you have the right box or receiver, so you can subscribe to high-def channels.
If you have chosen projectors it's because you have an open space and you want to enjoy a big screen. Depending of decor, you can either get adjustable projectors that can be hidden in wall or ceiling, or fixed projectors if that in not the case. Now that you got your projector, we have to match the perfect screen. Your options are: permanently tension screen, manual screen or motorized screen.

2. The Source
Standard DVD and Blue-ray are just beginning. Blue-ray Disc next generation DVD movies exceed the image quality than the standard DVD.
Other source is the Media Server where you can organize your own video and music.
The Ipod docking can be integrated as well, so if you have your Ipod already, just need a port or docking when you select your favorite music.

3. The Sound
While most TVs employ stereo sound, we know you want much more. Acoustic engineers have come up with great 2.1 small satellites and a sub woofer, or best of all you can experience theater-like sound with a 5.1 or 7.1 system.
You also can find amplifiers, known as the heart of sound, which provide a flow sound involving the whole room.
