The in-wall tubing is easily installed during construction or can be added to an existing home.
o The higher the air-watts, the better the pickup. This is translated as: more air-watts equal more suction power.
o Up to 3500sf suction power recommended: 500 to 600up Air-watts.
o From 4000 to 9000sf suction power recommended: 600 to 80up Air-watts.
o The lower the decibels level, the quieter the unit. A decibel rating is provided by the manufacturers and varies from 57 to up.
o Filtration: there are 4 methods of filtration currently used:
o Paper bag system
o Bagless with self cleaning filter
o Filtered cyclonic action with fixed filter
o True cyclonic with outside exhaust
o For a suitable installation, the plumbing pipe is NOT RECOMMENDED. This can cause clogging, poor airflow and reduce efficiency.
o Retractable hose is a advantage if you have room to store a 30’ hose. They also tend to be heavier.
